Dagenham is having a old swimming pool transformed into a full on BMX arena this month, thanks to the local council teaming up with Nike.

The old pool was supposed to be torn down this summer but has been given a new lease of live thanks to the guys at “Nike Action Sports” (Nike 6.0). Nike are making the changes to the pool and with free admission for everyone visiting!

It is due to be open hopefully by Monday, 16 May and Sunday, 12 June. It will also be open every weekend & during half term between Tuesday, 31 May 2011 and Friday, 3 June 2011 from 11am – 8pm.
