Radfest is back for 2012 and is drawing in quite a crowd! Radfest is a trials riding festival organised by the guys from Radical bikes, who have created a monster of an outdoor trials bike park. The event last year was a huge success with a superb level of riding from some big names including Jack Meek and Euan Beaden.
The video below shows some of the highlights from last year:
Radfest also features a ‘Trials Village’ that will be there all over the weekend, which makes getting hold of parts easy if you need anything or if you fancy buying a few bits. Companies that will be at the ‘Trials Village’ over the weekend include; Onza Bikes, RockandRoll Bikes, Radical Bikes, Trials Addict, 54 Sport.
There will also be plenty of music, entertainment and hot food stalls.
Which ever day you choose to go on over the 3 day event you will have the chance to enter a few competitions.
Speed Trials: Head to head racing over a certain section of the bike park against another fellow rider
Kicker Comp: This proved to be very popular last year and does exactly what is says on the tin. Last year saw a small kicker placed a distance from a couple of tractor tyres, and things got pretty scary!
Drop Gap Comp: Who will be the bravest and attempt the biggest drop gap of the weekend!?
If you are thinking of attending this years Radfest you will have to be quick as only day tickets are left and all the weekend tickets have sold out.
